Recently,I've read a book called《pollyanna》by Eleanor Porter.And I really would like to recommend it.The story goes like this:an orphaned girl-Pollyanna,went to live with her aunt- a stern cold and dutiful woman who would frown if knifes clattered and doors banned,but never ought to smile even when knifes and doors are still.
But Pollyanna is an extremely cheerful girl who changes everyone in the town,even her aunt by the game of gladness.To find anything to be glad about, and that's the game.In a dictionary, a pollyanna is: an excessively or blindly optimistic person.That,was not an very positive definition.But now,I think a Pollyanna is very welcome in a world of coldnness like today.
After reading 《pollyanna》,i had to turn over to think about myself,i have been,or most people had been quite pessimistic,but don't you think people should be more cheerful?
Be a Pollyanna yourself and search for your own happiness!
