Long long ago there was a wolf and a fox. They both wanted to eat the rabbit but it was very difficult to catch him.
One day the fox said to the wolf “You go and lie in bed. I’ll tell the rabbit that you are dead then you can catch him when he comes to look at you.”
So the wolf went home and lay in bed at once. The fox went to the rabbit’s house and knocked at the door. “I’m Mr. Fox. The wolf is dead do you know?”
The rabbit went to look at the wolf through the window of its house. “Is he really dead? If he’s not dead he will catch me and then eat me.” the rabbit thought to himself.
After a while the rabbit had an idea. “Mr. Fox says that the wolf is dead but he doesn't look like a dead wolf. The mouth of a dead wolf is always open.” said the rabbit loudly outside the house.
When the wolf heard this he opened his mouth at once. When the rabbit saw this he ran away as fast as he possibly could.
