In this long summer holiday, I read a book called The Midnight Picnic. It is written by Lauren ST John-a famous children writer. It is published by Orion Children's Book, and it is an adventure story.
There are a lot of characters in this book,but there are only 6 main characters. They are: Laura Marlin,Skye, Camilla, Tariq and Amy. In the topic, you can see it happened at midnight.Te picnic venue is Bodmin Moor, a mysterious and foggy place which is full of legends.
The story is about:Laura Marlin and her classmates won a competition and the price is go to Bodmin Moor and enjoy a midnight picnic.But,Camilla got lost in the foggy Bodmin Moor. Ms. Creswell also disappeared. At last, they found out it was just an aciident.
This book is very thrilling, which can attrack readers to continue to read it. But, as I said, this book has too many characters, let the relationship become very complex, and make the story boring.Of course, the coin has two sides, nothing is perfect at all.Hope you will like this book.
