Good afternoon teachers! The theme of my speech is Shanghai has already prepared for Expo.The World Expo has a long history but it has never been held in China. Shanghai is the twenty-fourth city which will be held the World Expo in 2010. The theme of it’ s “Better City better life”. It means a lot of lovely mascot “Haibao” has already been popular around the world. I think Shanghai is a modern city the foreigners would like to go to Shanghai . So the 2010 World Expo will be an honor for all of the Asians. I’m very proud of being a Shanghainese. Our government has promised that it will be the best one. And Shanghai as a host city will have more changes to develop quickly. As a student in Shanghai Firstly I should learn English well so that I can be a volunteer in the Expo to help foreigners know more about Shanghai. Secondly it’s necessary for us to be a gentle person. We can make the foreign visitors have the good memories of Shanghai.Finaly I’d like to introduce the World Expo that Shanghai has the largest changes in the past 30 years.
